This patch includes some additions and fixes to DASH 3.4.4. It must not be installed to any earlier DASH release.

If DASH 3.4.4 has not been installed yet or you wish to do a clean install then a complete updated package is available.

• Export data to SPSS has been added to the browser menu. This exports the DASH case data in tab delimited format and creates a specification file for the variable definitions and their labels. The DASH export has been tested with SPSS 14.0 and may not be compatible with old versions of SPSS. A number of warnings may be generated when the DASH export is loaded to SPSS but most may be ignored (eg. label is truncated since it is too long).

• Changes to the returnHref field were not reflected in the servlet. So if a form inserted "http://foo1.com" into the returnHref field on page q1, and then inserted "http://bar2.com" into the returnHref field on page q2, then at the end of the survey the web respondent would still be redirected to http://foo1.com. This has been corrected, so that the web respondent is redirected to http://bar2.com as expected.
• The DASH 2 menu function "Create Page/Field Data File" did not handle the condition correctly for large decimal numbers. Other programs containing the same problem module are also repaired but some of these programs would never use decimal numbers. The programs repaired are;
